Melbourne – Chilli Everest, renowned for its authentic Nepali and Indian cuisine, continues its culinary journey with the inauguration of a new restaurant at Collins Street on June 12, 2023.
Established initially in Melbourne Central on May 8, 2015, by two individuals offering a modest selection of six Nepali dishes, Chilli Everest has since flourished in response to soaring demand, expanding its menu to encompass over 30 delectable items.
Bikram Kunwar, one of the esteemed chefs of Restaurant says that to address the fast-food setup of Melbourne Central, the company decided to introduce a fine dining outlet at Collins Street near the Southern Cross Station.
The new establishment boasts a dedicated team of 12 staff members, comprising seven kitchen and five front-of-house personnel.
The menu caters to both Indian and Nepali palates, featuring popular Nepali delicacies such as Thakali Khana Set, Newari Khaja, Momos, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Taas. Additionally, well-loved Indian dishes like Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer, and Tikka Masala are available, complemented by Nepalese beers and a selection of hard drinks.
Chilli Everest is on the cusp of launching a breakfast menu, further diversifying its offerings says Bikram. The establishment also extends its services beyond dine-in, providing catering services and facilitating party bookings, catering to a spectrum of culinary needs.
The restaurant says it has been committed to offering pure Nepali and Indian tastes along with quality dishes to its customers.
