NAV Hosts Kids Cricket Camp with National Players Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee

Melbourne – In a bid to foster cricket talent and community spirit, the Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV) has announced the organization of a Kids Cricket Camp on the occasion of ‘Maximax Presents NAV Cup 2024’. The camp is set to take place on March 10, 2024, coinciding with the grand finale day of the tournament, at JC Donath Reserve in Reservoir. This event, sponsored by Maximax Education and Migration and co-sponsored by Holmes Institute was inaugurated on 14th Jan 2024 and is all set to conclude on 10th March 2024.

The event promises to be an exciting opportunity for young Nepali cricket enthusiasts residing in Victoria to hone their skills under the guidance of two distinguished national cricket players, Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee. Malla and Airee, known for their exceptional talent and contributions to Nepali cricket, will impart their knowledge and expertise to the aspiring cricketers during the camp.

Mr. Prem Raj Upreti, President of the Nepalese Association of Victoria, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “We are thrilled to organize the Kids Cricket Camp as part of the NAV Cup 2024. It’s not just about cricket; it’s about nurturing talent, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating our cultural heritage through sports. Having Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee on board adds immense value to the camp, and we believe it will be an inspiring experience for the young participants.”

NAV has requested all guardians to register their children’s details for the Kids Cricket Camp before the deadline on February 26.

The NAV Cup 2024 has been a significant platform for Nepali communities in Victoria to come together, showcase their cricketing prowess, and strengthen bonds within the diaspora.
